Be green for me is to make sustainable choices when it is not necessary to do so. To ask for less bags in the supermarket, to try to repurpose things that otherwise would throw away, and to make conscious choices that limit my footprint on the environment, not because I have to but because I want to. I have discovered that I am more green when I am visiting Peru and Ecuador, maybe because there is not a "green" culture down there and by seeing the lack of it makes me want to do more of. As an economist being green is to limit my negative externalities to the world. Knowing that my actions and decisions can and will affect others in a negative fashion. This is economics 101 and I apply it in all areas of my business.
